Pick a client, add your line items, hit send. Invoice4You builds a clean, professional PDF with your business details, numbering and payment terms handled for you — and emails it straight to your client.
Late payers are the worst part of working for yourself. Switch on reminders and Invoice4You sends up to three polite, well-timed chase emails on your behalf — and tells you the moment each one goes out. You stay polite; we stay persistent.
Send a professional quote, get the nod, convert it to an invoice without retyping a thing.
Run your side business and your limited company side by side. Separate company profiles, separate invoice numbering, separate clients — one login.
Snap or upload receipts, log expenses against the right company, and keep everything in one place for your accountant.
GBP by default. VAT and UTR fields where UK invoices need them. Payment terms that match how British small businesses actually work.
How it works
01
Add your business (sole trader or Ltd), your logo comes later; your first invoice doesn't wait for it.
02
Build the invoice, preview the PDF, send it by email without leaving the app.
03
Reminders chase politely and automatically. You'll know when it's opened, sent, and settled.
Pricing
No card required. No caps. Every feature included.
Early access
Invoice4You is completely free right now. Not a trial, not a capped plan — every feature, unlimited invoices, unlimited clients, free.
We're in early access: you get the full product free while we polish it with feedback from real UK businesses. If we introduce paid plans later, you'll hear it from us first, clearly and in advance — and you will never be charged automatically.
Missing something? Request a feature — early-access feedback decides what we build next.
FAQ
Yes. Invoice4You is completely free while in early access — no card details, no invoice caps, no locked features. If paid plans arrive later, early-access users will be told clearly in advance, and no one will ever be charged automatically.
No. Invoice4You runs in your browser at app.invoice4you.app — on your laptop, tablet or phone. Native iOS and Android apps are on the way; join the mailing list and we'll tell you the day they land.
Include your name and business name, your address, a unique invoice number, the date, a clear description of the work, the amount due, and your payment terms. Invoice4You puts all of these fields in front of you so nothing gets missed.
At minimum: your identity and address, a unique sequential invoice number, invoice date, description of goods or services, and the amount. VAT details are only needed if you're VAT registered. Every Invoice4You invoice includes these automatically.
Yes. Sole traders and freelancers can invoice under their own name without forming a company. Invoice4You supports sole trader, self-employed and limited company profiles — pick the one that matches how you work.
It's not legally required, but some clients and agencies ask for it. Invoice4You lets you store your UTR against your business profile so it's there when you need it — and off the invoice when you don't.
No — you only charge VAT once you're VAT registered. If you are, Invoice4You handles VAT lines on your invoices; if you're not, your invoices simply leave it off.
Politely, promptly, and in writing. Or let Invoice4You do it: switch on automatic reminders and up to three professionally-worded chase emails go out on schedule, so the awkward conversation never has to be yours.
A quote proposes a price before the work; an invoice requests payment after it. In Invoice4You, an accepted quote becomes an invoice in one click — same details, no retyping.
Yes — that's one of the things Invoice4You was built for. Separate company profiles keep invoicing, numbering, clients and expenses cleanly apart, under one login.
Yes, please do — during early access your feedback carries the most weight. Request a feature and tell us what would make Invoice4You work better for you. We read every submission.
